Meal Exchange Updates

We are going to be updating our meal exchange participants for the school year.  We will ask for new & returning participants in a few weeks.  If you have been participating but would not like to continue during the school year, you will have the chance to opt out.

For those of you new to Time Out!, we have several members who participate in what we call Mom's Night Off.  Once a month, you prepare a meal for another participating family.  You can deliver it to their house, invite them to your house for dinner or take the other family out...your choice!

Once you sign up, you are obligating yourself to a three month committment.  We will have Fall 2010 (September, October, November), Winter 2011 (January, February, March) and Summer 2011 (June, July, August) exchanges.

Sundae Sunday Time Announced

HMUMC has announced that Sundae Sunday will take place on Sunday, August 15th from 4:00-5:30.  Time Out! will have members present to represent our group & information available for interested moms.  If you know of anyone interested in getting involved in Time Out!, please have them drop by our table on Sundae Sunday or contact Heather or Erin.

Don't Forget about MNO!

We have our last Mom's Night Out of the summer scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, August 4th (same day as our pool playdate).  An evite was sent about a week ago, so if you are planning on attending, please update your RSVP on the evite, as well as list any ideas you have for the evening!

Pool Playdate

Marie Perry has offered her neighborhood pool to our group again, so please look for the evite in your inbox for a pool playdate at Chandler Grove on Wednesday, August 4th @ 10 AM!

Time Out! Start Day: Changed...AGAIN!

Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, August 18th as originally planned!

HMUMC schedule a revival for the 18th, so we pushed the start date to the 25th...but the revival has now been cancelled, so we are back to our original schedule!  Sorry for all of the confusion!

Upcoming August Events

It is hard to believe that we are only a week away from August!  You probably already have these listed on your calendar, but for those who don't, here is a list of our August events:

*Friday, August 13th: Playdate @ Imaginations at Play (10 AM...evite coming soon!)
*Wednesday, August 25th: First Time Out! Meeting (6:45)

We are also planning another pool playdate at Marie's subdivision (doesn't she have the most wonderful pool set-up for our crazy group?!), so we will get that date out ASAP!

If you still haven't signed up for the Shutterfly site, they have a GREAT calendar feature with all of our events scheduled!  I printed out a Time Out calendar for 2010-2011 yesterday for my notebook...thank you Heather for insisting on us getting everything scheduled now!!! 

Steering Meeting Reminder

Just a reminder that our final steering meeting prior to our first meeting will be on Sunday evening (7PM) at Heather's house.  Everyone is invited to come and share ideas & opinions, but you are not obligating yourself to anything!  Please email Heather to RSVP or get directions.

Stroller Club Postponed

We have decided to stop sending Stroller Club evites because it has been too darn hot to walk in the mornings...it was 88 today at 9:30!  Yikes!  Much too warm for the little ones...

We will be starting back up in September when HMUMC preschool/MMO is back in session, so look for more details about days, times & evite sign-up on the blog!

Just a reminder that the month of August is almost upon us, so if you haven't already done so, please contact your family for the month to set up your dinner plans!

Steering Meeting

The next Time Out! Steering Committee Meeting will be on Sunday, July 25th at 7 o'clock at Heather Korey's house.  We will be finalizing our calendar and preparing for Sundae Sunday.  If you have ideas or opinions, we would love to hear them...and as always, you are not obligating yourself to anything by attending!!!  Please let Heather know if you are able to attend.

Stroller Club Update

We have moved our start time up to 8:30 until HMUMC MMO & Preschool starts in August...hopefully we can shave a few degrees off the temperature by getting out there a little earlier!

For moms new to the group, several moms walk regularly at Little Mulberry Park (2.2 miles) on Monday & Thursday mornings.  If you would like to be added to the Stroller Club evite list, please email Erin Clary.
