*Annual Women's Retreat January 28-30, 2011 - Unicoi State Park in Helen, GA

"Help, Lord! My Life Is Like a Game of Twister!" - Do you feel as if your life is like a Game of Twister sometimes - pulled in lots of different directions and not sure which one is the best? Join with Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba and Mary as they share the twists in their lives with you. They will show you how God worked through these twists and used them all in the linage of Christ. God can take twists and make them straight again! Examine the hassles, headaches and heartaches of life with humor and hope from God's word by studying about five strong women of the Bible. Sign up online or on Sundays at the reception window opposite the Great Room. The cost is $150.00, payable in monthly payments. *Books for the Women's Retreat Needed! - Please donate any unwanted Christian CD's, devotional books, journals or other books by placing them in the gray bin across from the elevators. These items will be on a table for the ladies to take home with them and enjoy!

*2011-2012 Preschool Registration - Registration for church members (who joined by September 26, 2010) is Wednesday, January 26 at 9:00am. Registration for Legacy is at 11:00am that same day. Registration for the community is Friday, January 28 at 9:00am by lottery. Tours of the preschool will be given daily at 10:00am during the month of January. *2011-2012 Mother's Morning Out Registration - Registration for Legacy and church members (who joined by September 26, 2010) is Friday, January 28 at 9:00am.  Registration for the community is at 9:30am that same day. *Food Pantry Needs - HMUMC helped over 300 families in December.Thank you very much for your support! As we begin 2011, the Pantry is in immediate need of the following items: Peanut Butter, Jelly, Spaghetti Sauce, Spaghetti/Pasta, and Canned Meats.
